Andy and Fliss Jones

Text Box: Andy Jones will be seeking to work in all the Junior schools that feed into Wymondham and Hethersett High Schools. As well as assemblies and school clubs it is our hope that a number of Awesome Kids Clubs can be established at the Junior schools. We are praying that by the end of the year 100 children will be attending such clubs.
Text Box: As well as setting up a Church Charity we will also establish a separate Charity called The Hub Project to enable us to expand our social action and care programme in the community and beyond to the Nation.
The HubHub LogoText Box: men and women with- Charisma-   God’s   gifting  for  the task, Character- Godly servant attitudes and behaviour. Chemistry- people who can work well in team with complementary gifts. Conviction- People having the same Purpose and Vision. Later we hope to establish Elders and Deacons as they emerge in the church and are recognised by the church.

Text Box: At the moment Grantley John & Doreen are acting as a Church Servant Leadership Team. It is hoped that a wider leadership team will be formed  shortly  made up  of
LeadershipLeadership LogoText Box: Jenny:- saw a picture of her digging the dirt out of her life like digging hole, but with a pile of dirt so high what was she to do with it? Next to her she saw Jesus in a stream to his waist and he instructed her to shovel her dirt into the steam that became muddy at first then clear. Amongst the last clumps of dirt in the water Jesus put his hands and then lifted them out to reveal nuggets of gold. A promise of removal of rubbish and reward for bringing these thing to Jesus.
D Fife:- ‘As Moses struck the rock and life giving water (the Spirit) poured forth, church do the same. You will release a great waterfall of my Spirit as you worship in Spirit and Passion and as you Pray Fervently for my presence. Signs and wonders will occur throughout  the church as you hunger after holiness and purity.’  ‘The Secret Place’

Sue R.:- I  was led to read the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel last week and what really struck me was the fact that, not only was she prepared to give Samuel back to God, but that He blessed her for not clinging tightly onto her 'baby' by giving her FIVE more children.  WOW!!  I believe God is saying that if we totally surrender everything, including our previous ministries, to Him, then He will multiply our new ministries by five times.
Bill:- 'Sometimes bad things gotta happen so that good things can happen'. I have read these words repeatedly recently, and believe God is telling us that out of the not so happy past, He is doing 'good things'. I know He has already for me this year, and will do for all of us as we trust in Him. He is awesome!!
Fiona:-   Saw a picture of the church gathered in a circle around a radiant light which she saw as Jesus in the midst of us, as if he was reborn amongst us.
Penelope:- Was drawn to these words concerning the church:- Isaiah 54:2-4
"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left, your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.  Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame.  Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated."
Graham:- ‘One Church becoming two does not mean each will be half as good but that two will be twice as good.’
Mark:- Saw the imagery of a car with the accelerator pedal full down but the breaks still on and he felt God say, ‘Now the breaks are off.’

Words
Text Box: As it will take a few months to register as a charity and be able to operate a gift aid scheme Aylsham Community Church have come to the rescue. As their gift to us, they will kindly administer all our finances and fully audit them before handing them over to us later this year. Accounts will be available for all to see.
This will enable us tax payers to Gift Aid our giving and for the church to receive the tax paid on that money. Every penny given and all gift Aid monies will come to us, the church at ACC are giving their services free. If you are a tax payer please fill in the gift aid forms by the notice boards at the back of the hall and leave them in basket provided. Form can be downloaded here.
Please make all cheques payable to Aylsham Community Church and if you gift aid and give by cash please use envelopes provided. As we hope this will be a temporary arrangement we suggest no standing orders are set up. Weekly offering figures will be included in notices.
UPDATE - SEE ALSO ACCOUNTS BELOW
I have been overwhelmed by the number of tax payers who have filled in Gift Aid forms to enable us to reclaim the tax that was paid on that money for Hope.
During January to the end of March we were able to reclaim the staggering figure of  £3,113.00. What an amazing church you are! If you are a tax payer and haven’t yet filled in a Gift Aid form they are on the table with the Notices Boards and you can put them completed in the offering basket.

FinancesOffering plateText Box: After considerable response from the Congregation, the majority verdict is to call the new Church - Hope Community Church Wymondham. This name reflects both the foundation of the Church in Jesus Christ, who IS our eternal Hope, as well as the mission of the Church to bring hope to the hope-less and needy in our community. It also reflects our desire to be a true community of worshippers who also wish to reach out to and serve the local communities

A Church With No Name !People make a ChurchAndy and Fliss JonesText Box: Many have asked about the future of Andy Jones. He completed his three years part time work with WBC at the end of January.
He and Fliss felt very called to the church led by Grantley, John & Doreen. So, as at 1st February Andy became it's Full Time Children's and Schools Worker. Both are employed by Norwich Youth for Christ (Fliss remains there as the Office Manager) and Hope church will seek to work closely with YFC in the development of Children and Youth work in the area.
Out and about with Andy
After finishing my three years with WBC/Eaton I was blessed and challenged at the children's ministry conference in Eastbourne. It was then more or less straight into the new, scary and exciting venture of being full time children's and schools worker for Hope Community Church, Wymondham. So far it has meant being amazingly blessed by having a meeting with the head at Robert Kett and trying to build on the work there and support them in what they do.
I've also been back to Spooner Row where I've been able to lead the school in songs and a story. Awesome kicked off on 22nd January with a good start where all of us were exploring (in a pirate theme) the hope characters in the bible had in our amazing God. I've also been working on a website and I'll let you know more about that soon. Not only that... my head seems to be filling up with plans for the holiday clubs in the Easter holidays and in the summer so watch this space (or one nearby) for
details of dates and things. More again soon! Andy Jones.
